Reports & analytics covers the in-person batches NSDP has launched at your campus. Nothing from other campuses or online batches is included. Until a batch has been launched at your campus, the page says No batch has been launched at your campus yet.

Choosing a range

  • Pick 7 days, 30 days (the default), 90 days, This term or Custom.
  • This term runs from the earliest start to the latest end of the batches running today; if none is running, it uses your most recently finished batch, or else the first upcoming one. It is greyed out when no batch has dates.
  • A custom range can be up to 731 days (about two years). If you pick a longer one, the start is moved forward; if the dates are reversed, they are swapped.
  • Days are counted in your campus's time zone. Charts group by day for ranges up to 45 days, by week up to 210 days, and by month beyond that.
  • You can also narrow most views to one batch.
  • The view, range and batch are kept in the page address, so you can bookmark a report or send the link to a colleague who also signs in to your campus portal.

Reading attendance figures

  • In reports a student counts as present if they were marked Present, Left early or Checked in.
  • The attendance rate is students present divided by students expected at every class held in the range. Expected means enrolled on or before the class day and not dropped by then; a walk-in marked present counts too.
  • A class counts as held once its day has passed, or today once attendance is marked or the class is live. Cancelled classes, and classes of a cancelled batch, never count.
  • A student is at risk when they have attended less than 75% of the classes held in their batch. Rates below 75% are highlighted in the tables.
  • A class day marked with * was worked out from the weekly timetable because the class has no set date.
  • Certificates use a stricter count: only Present marks, out of the whole timetable. So a student can look fine in reports and still be short of the certificate minimum.

Enrollment figures

  • Registrations counts enrolments that started in the range; the hint says how many were first-time students at your campus.
  • A returning student had already joined an earlier batch at your campus.
  • Drop-outs are enrolments that became dropped during the range.
  • Studying now counts students still enrolled; completed counts those who finished.
  • Seat fill compares seats taken with each batch's seat limit. Batches with no limit show No limit.

Revenue figures

  • Sales are paid in-person seats at your campus, counted on the day they were paid. Refunds are counted on the day they were refunded. Net sales is sales minus refunds.
  • These are full sale amounts, not your campus share.
  • Campus share earned is the share recorded for sales in the range, on the day each sale was made. It includes shares still in reserve and shares already paid out; shares cancelled by a refund are left out. Payouts shows what you can withdraw today.
  • The invoice list shows each paid or refunded invoice with its amount and dates.

Downloading a table as CSV

  1. Step 1: Open Reports & analytics

Sign in to open this screen
  2. Step 2: Pick a view, a range and, if you like, a batch

  3. Step 3: Download

Every table has a CSV download. The file contains the rows currently shown, including columns that are hidden on small screens (for example student codes and expected counts). Rates are exported as whole percentages.

The file name contains your campus name, the table and the date range, so downloads from different ranges don't overwrite each other.

What is and isn't included

  • Included: the in-person batches NSDP has launched at your campus, past and present, and the students, classes, teachers and invoices of those batches.
  • Not included: online batches, recorded courses, batches not yet launched, and anything from any other campus.
  • Student names appear only where a report lists people (at-risk students, invoice payers).

FAQ

Why does a student look fine in reports but is not eligible for a certificate?

Reports count Present, Left early and Checked in against the classes held so far. Certificates count only Present marks against the whole timetable.

A batch is missing from the list.

Only batches NSDP has launched at your campus appear. A batch that is not launched yet, or that runs online, is not part of campus reports.

Net sales is much higher than our payouts.

Net sales is the full amount students paid. Your campus earns a share of it; see Campus share earned on the Revenue view and the Payouts page.

Today's class is not counted yet.

A class held today counts once attendance has been marked or the class is live.
