Your dashboard is the first page you see after signing in as a student. It shows where to pick up your course, your next class, the work that is waiting and how close you are to a certificate.
The menu
The menu runs down the left side in four groups, with a Need help? card under them. On a phone, open it with the button at the top left; the most used pages are also on the bar at the bottom.

- The card at the top of the menu, Continue learning, shows the course you were last studying. Resume opens its next lesson.
- The bar across the top has a course search, Explore & enroll, a shortcut to your to-do list, the notifications bell, the help centre and your account.
- Choose your name (top right, or at the bottom of the menu) for My account, Self-paced courses, Certificates, Help centre and Sign out.
- Need help? at the bottom of the menu has the helpline, WhatsApp and email.
The welcome area and the four figures
- The green area at the top greets you by name, shows today's date and how many tasks are waiting, and carries your student card with your name and student ID.
- Continue learning shows the course to pick up, its next lesson and your progress as a ring. Resume opens that lesson; Course details opens the course page.
- Next class shows your next live or on-campus class with its time and place. View class opens it.
| Figure | What the number means |
|---|---|
| Courses in progress | Courses you have started and not yet finished. |
| Lessons this week | Lessons you completed since Monday. |
| Certificates earned | Certificates issued to you so far. |
| Day streak | How many days in a row you have completed at least one lesson. |
Three ways to learn and your learning journey
Under the figures are three shortcuts: Self-paced courses (watch lessons anytime), Live Zoom classes (join your online classes) and On-campus classes (your classes at a campus).

Good outcome: Earn your certificate
Awarded on completion, for a course that has a certificate.
Your learning journey shows which of these four steps you have reached (for example "Step 3 of 4").
Course cards
- Your courses lists the courses you are enrolled in, the one furthest along first. All courses opens the full list.
- Each card shows the course cover, how much is complete and how many lessons are done (for example "4/21 lessons").
- View course opens the course page first: its sections, your progress, announcements and certificate. From there, Resume opens the lesson player.
- A course that opens later, for example inside a programme, says when it unlocks.
The panels
| Panel | What it does |
|---|---|
| Coming up | Your next classes with the day, time and place ("Online on Zoom" or the campus and room). All classes opens your class list. |
| To do | Assignments and quizzes waiting in your courses, with their due date. Open takes you to the lesson. |
| Certificates | Certificates you have earned, and for a class certificate your attendance so far against what it needs (for example "0% attended, needs 75%"). |
| Recommended for you | Courses you can join next. View details opens the course; Explore all courses opens Explore & enroll. |
| Official NSDP helpline | The helpline number, WhatsApp and email, at the bottom of the page. |
An empty dashboard
With no course in your account, the dashboard invites you to Explore courses instead of showing progress. Enroll in a course or class (see Finding and buying a course), or, if your school enrols you, wait for them to add it. If you paid by bank transfer, the course appears once the payment is approved.
FAQ
I enrolled in a course but it isn't on my dashboard.
Check that you're signed in with the email you enrolled with. Bank transfer payments only add the course after they are approved. Live and on-campus classes are listed under Live Zoom classes and On-campus classes.
What is the difference between Announcements and Notifications?
Announcements are written by your course instructor. Notifications come from NSDP and the portal. See Announcements, notifications and your inbox.
Where is my student ID?
On the student card at the top of the dashboard, under your name in the top bar, and on My account.
Where do I change my name, email or password?
Under My account. See Your account, profile and password.
