Teacher earnings and withdrawals

How you earn a share of paid sales of your courses, bundles, live sessions and downloads, when earnings become available, and how to request a withdrawal and follow it to payment.

For:TeachersCampus teachers6 min read9 sectionsUpdated 29 September 2026

Every time a student pays for one of your courses, bundles, live sessions or digital downloads, you earn a share of that sale. Your earnings, your verified payout account and your withdrawal requests are on the Earnings & withdrawals page.

The figures on the page

FigureMeaning
AvailableWhat you can withdraw now: released earnings not yet paid or claimed by a request. The minimum request is shown under it.
In requestsThe total of your requests NSDP has not paid or closed yet.
Your earningsYour total share from paid sales of your products, with the sales total under it.
Paid outWhat NSDP has paid you so far; under it, the part of your sales the school keeps.
Earnings by product (Overview tab)Sales, revenue, what the school keeps and your share for courses, live sessions, bundles and downloads.

The dashboard shows the same money in Net Earnings, Withdrawable Balance, Gross Revenue (total paid before your share) and School Retained, split by product type. Refunded payments are removed from these totals.

From sale to available balance

  1. Student

    Student pays

Your share is recorded as a pending earning.

  2. System

    Holding period

The earning waits (usually 14 days) in case the student is refunded.

  3. System

    Good outcome: Available

It is added to your Available balance and can be withdrawn.

  4. NSDP

    Stop / exit: Refunded

If the student is refunded before you are paid, that earning is cancelled.

How your share is worked out

  • By default your share is a percentage (20%) of what the student paid after any affiliate commission. Your school may use a different percentage, a fixed amount per sale, or different rules for courses, bundles, live sessions and downloads.
  • Earnings come from paid sales only; free enrolments earn nothing.
  • Teaching at a campus doesn't reduce your share: the campus's share comes out of the school's part of the sale.

Requesting a withdrawal

  1. Step 1: Verify your identity and bank account

Withdrawals go only to the bank account in your Verification (shared with your other panels). There is no payout account to add; the Payout account tab shows it. See Your payout account (teachers).

Sign in to open this screen
  2. Step 2: Choose Request withdrawal

In the panel, choose the account under Pay into and the Amount (at least the minimum, at most your available balance; Use all fills in your whole balance), and add a Note for NSDP if needed (up to 1200 characters).

  3. Step 3: Choose Submit request

You see Withdrawal request submitted. The request goes to NSDP administration.

  4. Step 4: Follow it on the Requests tab

Each request shows the amount, the account, a progress line (Requested → NSDP review → Payment prepared → Paid), any note from NSDP (NSDP says) and, once paid, the Payment reference.

When you can request

  • Request withdrawal is active only when withdrawals are switched on for your school, your identity and bank account are verified (and NSDP pays that kind of account), and your available balance is at least the minimum. Otherwise the Overview tab explains what is missing.
  • You can have more than one request open, as long as each one is covered by available earnings.
  • While a request is still With NSDP (not yet approved) you can choose Cancel request on the Requests tab. Its earnings go straight back to your available balance, exactly as when NSDP cancels a request. Once NSDP has approved it, raise a dispute if it should be stopped.

Request statuses

What each status means

  • With NSDP (pending)Waiting for NSDP to review it. The amount counts under In requests. You can still cancel it.
  • ApprovedAccepted for payment.
  • ProcessingThe payment is being prepared.
  • Payment sentPaid. Use the reference to find it on your statement. This is final.
  • RejectedClosed without payment; any note from NSDP explains why. The earnings return to your available balance.
  • CancelledClosed without payment: you cancelled it, NSDP cancelled it, or every sale in it was refunded. Unrefunded earnings return to your balance.

Refunds

  • A refund cancels your share of that sale if it hasn't been paid to you yet.
  • If a refunded sale is part of an open request, the request is reduced by that amount; if nothing is left, it is cancelled with a note saying the claimed earnings were refunded.
  • Earnings already paid out are not taken back through the portal.

FAQ

Do free invitation bonus courses affect my earnings?

No. When NSDP has the invitation bonus course on, students who joined through an invitation link get one extra free course after completing their first course. If you are also an affiliate partner, tell the students you invite: through your link they get an extra free Freelancing course after completing their first course. That free enrolment has no payment, so it never takes anything from your share of your own course sales.

I made a sale today. Why can't I withdraw it?

New earnings wait for the holding period (usually 14 days) before they join your available balance.

How long does payment take after I request?

It depends on NSDP's payment runs. Watch the status on the Requests tab; Paid means it has been paid.

Do I get an email when my request changes?

Check the Requests tab on the Earnings & withdrawals page; it always shows the current status and any note.

Why is my share different on one product?

Your school can set different shares for courses, bundles, live sessions and downloads.

My dashboard shows no earnings section.

Your school can hide earnings on the dashboard. The Earnings & withdrawals page still shows them.
