Live Zoom classes in your menu shows every online class you are enrolled in, with one timetable across all of them. Classes you attend in person at a campus are listed separately under On-campus classes. Both open the same kind of class page and classroom.
The Live Zoom classes list
| Part | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Next class | The date of your next class across everything you are enrolled in. |
| Classes today | How many of your classes are today. |
| Classes enrolled | How many live classes you are enrolled in. |
| Timetable | Your next classes as rows: the date, the class, its topic, the time and Live on Zoom. The very next one is tagged Next class. |
| Your classes | One card per class with its next class time and your batch. View class opens the class page. |
Find more classes opens Explore & enroll. There, a class's page shows Watch the intro when its instructor has added an intro video. With nothing to list, the page says you have no live classes yet: you aren't enrolled in a batch (or a bank transfer for one is still being checked).
The On-campus classes list
- The figures show your next class, how many courses you take at a campus, your attendance and the classes attended.
- The Timetable rows show the date, the course, the time, and the campus and room with a Map link.
- Each course card shows its campus, room, class days and time, when it starts or which week it is in, your attendance and your certificate's standing.
- Classes are held at the campus, but the course's assignments, materials, quizzes and certificate are here in the portal.
A class's page
View class opens the class's own page. The green area at the top shows the class, your enrolment, its class days and the next class. Open classroom takes you into the classroom.
| Part | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Curriculum | The whole course week by week: each week with its number, its topic when your instructor wrote one (for example Week 1: Getting started), its dates and how many classes were held, and under it every class with its topic, date and time, followed by that week's assignments, quizzes and materials. Expand all opens every week. |
| Timetable | The dated classes under Upcoming, Past and Calendar, plus Recordings once a class has one. This is where Join class turns on shortly before a class. |
| Your batch | Your batch's status, class days, start and end date. |
| Attendance so far | Classes present, absent and held. |
| Certificate | How many classes you have attended and what the certificate needs, how many of the assignments and quizzes that count you have done, or that the class does not award one. |
| Your instructor | Who teaches the class, with a link to their full profile. |
| Announcements | What your instructor has posted for this class. |
| Your campus | On-campus classes only: the campus with its full address, a map, Open in maps and a link to the Campus profile. |
The classroom
The classroom looks like the course player. The schedule runs down the left, week by week; the selected class is in the middle; tabs sit under it.
- Choose any class in the schedule to see it. Previous and Next class step through them.
- For a Zoom class the middle shows the class's date and time and the Join class button, which turns on a few minutes before the class starts. Only students enrolled in the batch can join.
- The class opens on Zoom inside the classroom, so you stay on this page. If it cannot open here, use Open in Zoom at the top of the class window; some classes open in a new tab instead.
- For an on-campus class it shows where to go: the campus, the room and the address, with Open in maps.
- After a Zoom class its recording appears here by itself; you don't need to ask for it. It can take a while. At first it may open on Zoom's own site (a passcode is shown if one is needed); once it has been prepared it plays here. Your instructor can also upload a recording.
- The tabs are Discussion forum, Announcements, Assignments & quizzes and Materials.
- Assignments & quizzes lists the assignments, projects and quizzes your instructor added, week by week, the week of the open class first. Choose one to open it: hand in an assignment as text, files or both (you can change your answer until it is marked; afterwards you see your marks and the feedback), or take a quiz (it is marked at once, you can take it again, and your best score is kept). The number on the tab is how many are still to do.
- Materials lists the notes, files and links your instructor shared, to read or download.
- The Certificate tab beside the schedule shows your attendance towards the certificate.
- Back to class returns to the class's page.
- Discussion forum is your batch's own discussion: only the students of your batch, your instructor and the NSDP team read it.
- Write your question and choose Post question. It is tagged with the class that is open, so others know what it is about.
- Choose Reply under a question to answer a classmate or follow up. Your instructor's answers are marked Instructor.
- Use All and This class to switch between the whole batch's questions and the ones asked under the open class.
- You can remove your own post with the bin icon; removing a question removes its replies too. A post cannot be edited.
- For something private, write to your instructor from your Inbox instead.
Class rows
Each class shows its topic, the date, the start and end time, and then either a button (online) or the place (in person).
- Online: Join class while the class is open, or Recording afterwards once the class has one.
- In person: the campus name, the room and the address. Attendance is marked at the campus.

FAQ
I pressed Join and nothing opened.
In the classroom the class opens inside the page; if it doesn't, choose Open in Zoom. From the class's page the meeting opens in a new tab: your browser may have blocked it. The page then tries to open the meeting in the same tab; if that fails too, allow pop-ups for the school's site and try again.
Why can't I join a class I can see?
Only your own batch's classes can be joined, and only inside the join window.
Where is my campus course?
Under On-campus classes in the menu (on a phone: the Classes tab, then On-campus classes). Each course shows its campus, room, class days and time, the week it is in, your next class, your attendance so far and your certificate. Its page also has the campus on a map with its full address.
My finished programme disappeared.
The page lists programmes where your place is active. Certificates you earned stay under My certificates.
